Local Grow Link is a website and service that allows London residents to easily access local food and growing spaces by mapping and connecting a variety of resources. This enables more people, particularly in areas that lack suitable food options, to engage with local food movements and further connect with their community while eating more sustainably.
This work was created was the thesis project of my MA in Sustainable Design at Kingston University London and was 1 of 6 featured projects of the MA SD Graduate Degree Show during London Design Festival 2021.

Walkthrough of Local Grow Link Homepage

Local Grow Link's Get Growing page features a map of over 900 growing locations in Greater London, a resource hub for all skill levels of gardeners providing information ranging from how to start a community garden to links to community growers networks, and a quiz that gives personalised guidance for users to better understand a realistic plan for growing their own fruit and vegetables.

Eat Local centralises information for local food sourcing in London giving users one convenient location for supporting their community and eating more sustainably whether or not they have time to grow their own food.
Walkthrough of Spotlight page
The Spotlight feature allows residents of areas in North, South, East, and West London to access specialised resources and content. These locations were chosen based on need, and they are all considered food deserts by a Kellogg's report.
